South Sixth Street Improvement, Klamath Falls, OR
The South Sixth Street Improvement project won the Oregon ACEC Engineering Excellence Honor Award. Design and construction work included surface enhancements and water, sanitary, and storm sewer system improvements. ZCS Engineering & Architecture delivered complete civil engineering services.
Klamath Falls Police Station, Klamath Falls, OR
ZCS Engineering & Architecture provided design consulting for civil as well as structural components of the newly constructed Klamath Falls Police Station. This modern facility includes an evidence lab with lockers, exercise room, SWAT armory, meeting room, a computer forensics facility, holding rooms, crime team room, a sally port, and interview rooms.
Klamath County Road Dept. Maintenance and Storage Facility, Klamath Falls, OR
Five metal buildings that have been pre-engineered were installed on 20 acres, including a newly-built maintenance shop, truck fleet storage, bulk material storage, fueling station, and a vehicle washing building. ZCS designed their site development including sanitary sewer, water, electrical communications coordination, and storm drainage.
The site development design had to take into consideration the protection of existing wetlands, with permitted discharges to United States Bureau of Reclamation facilities.
