Roseburg Public Schools
ZCS assisted Roseburg Public Schools with completing the SRGP application for Eastwood Elementary School. When the grant was awarded, ZCS was retained to perform the seismic rehabilitation design and construction management services.
Serving as a cafeteria, an auditorium, and a gymnasium, the cafetorium building is an integral part of the Eastwood Elementary School campus. In addition to roof truss reinforcement, the cafetorium building received new exterior siding, updated flooring, and replacement of many of the interior finishes. To add further structural stability, new strongback posts and metal siding were installed to brace the elevated section of the 6500 SF structure. Through close coordination between ZCS, the District, and the CM/GC, the project was delivered on time and within budget.
